Problem with R Key on Dell XPS L501X

I have a Dell XPS L501X, and recently it seems to have developed a fault with the 'R' on the keyboard. For some reason the 'R' seems to be in a constant state of being pressed, even when I am not physically pressing it.

So, for example, if I click the Start button, all I get is RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR in the search box, or if I go onto Google, all I get is the RRRRRRRRR is the address bar.

This is can be resolved be restarting the computer and the issue is then resolved for a little while. The issue is intermitent.

I have tried prizing the key off to clean the keyboard underneath, but with no success I am afraid.
