Problem with fingerprint reader [Precision M4600, Win7 64bit]

I have a problem with fingerprint that came with my Precision M4600 and Win7 64bit - after I wake up my laptop from suspend mode often it's not possible to login using my finger. Message says 'initializing' and that's all. Sometimes going to suspend mode again and waking up helps, but sometimes I loose all unsaved work because hard reset is needed.

I am using Dell Data Protection Access/Middleware/Drivers. The same situation occurs on  my 2nd laptop: Latitude E6320.

It also makes no sense that Dell didn't prepared any software to use the fingerprint in Win, i.e. for login to bank/firefox.

This is the most annoying problem at the moment. Of course I've got more problems with this "hi-end" machine thus I am very unhappy with Dell, probably will never buy anything form them again. Expected a lot more from a >2500 Euro computer.
