Problem with screen on Inspiron 510m???

I got my Inspiron 510m last week and i'm wondering if there is a problem with the screen or not. The problem is that I don't think white and other bright colors looks to good. When looking at the screen from normal distance it almost looks a bit dusty and when I look att the screen from a real close distance it looks like there is some kind of glossy filter on top of the screen. I've been looking at several notebooks and I haven't noticed the same effect on any of the others. However, on my cellphone (a SonyEricsson K700) I could see a similar effect.  Is it supposed to be like this???
