Problems With My Touchpad - Error Message: "failed to load LAUNCHER dll" Aponit.exe

hi,

i have a XPS M1530 bought 3 Months Ago. After a few uses i started getting an error message when I boot up the computer. it is an error message from apoint.exe which from what I can tell is the touch pad function on my laptop. the error reads "failed to load lanucher dll" ... its does not say " failed to load LAUNCHER dll" ... anyway, the touch pad i have has the two scrolls (up and down along the right side and left and right along the bottom), neither of these have worked since the error message started. Also, while i'm typing an email or a message on boards or whatever the mouse might autoclick to wherever i have left the mouse pointer icon as if i have clicked the mouse. usually google is my friend but it has not helped me for this error. Anyone any suggestions? i already re-installed the Driver but did not solve the problem.
When i Start my pc in another User Session the problem dont Appears. Please help.

Welcome to the Forum :smileyhappy:

Ensure you're operating within a profile that has Administrative rights before doing the following:

Remove the existing software: Run "Uninstap" located within the DellTPad folder (Program Files). Restart.

Download the TouchPad/Pointing Stick driver from Dell's website (Input Device Drivers).

Reinstall the application.

Good Luck

ps: I'd be weary of spyware corrupting your files - are you running Defender? Is it up to date?

Thanks, But I did that Twice and It has not Result, I'm a little bit disppointed.
I dont Trust Windows Defender, Is not the Safest Tool (in my opinion), My Pc Run the Program All the time.
Maybe the problem is ralted to an Adware or something, So What Should i do?

It would appear nobody in the forums can offer the solution, so I suggest you now contact Dell tech support for advice ;)
