Problems with my graphic card (Alienware)

Hello.

I have purchased an Alienware M15x a week ago and during this week I've been testing the liability of this laptop.

It has a better configuration than my Desktop PC, better hardware etc but in this laptop I can barely play GTA San Andreas with 25 fps (frames per second) while on my desktop PC I can play with over 90fps.

Also when I was just browsing the net, the graphic card driver had some problem and Windows said that the driver stopped responding and got recovered. This happened like 5 times till now and considering that this laptop is stronger than my desktop PC, it should run at least GTA San Andreas as good as my desktop does.

The fact is that it doesn't, and I don't know why.

Here are my  Alienware hardware settings:

There are other settings such as Sound Capture device etc, but that doesn't really matter.

Now comparing to my desktop's:

Intel Dual Core 2.17Ghz and 2.13ghz

nVIDIA 7600GT 256MB

3GB RAM DDR 3

SoundMax sound card

Asus P5B-E Motherboard

Operating System: Windows XP 32-bit Genuine Service Pack 3

As you can see, the ALienware is better but Im getting way too smaller performance and I suspect this is a graphic card problem, since the driver errors happened.

I tried to contact Alienware Support, but they say they don't have Online Chat support for ALienware products, only Telephone line. But my speaking skills are bad, I can barely understand someone speaking (im not english), just writting and reading is good (compared to my speaking) and I really don't know what to do.

I bought this laptop in USA, I'm here for vacation and I'm leaving in 24th August therefor I hope this problem can be clarified before I depart.

Kind Regards,

ok123
