Question about getting windows serial
Hi,
i've just bought a new dell laptop that comes with windows 10 already on it.
in the past you would get some kind of a ticker with the windows product key in cases you want to format the computer or reinstall.
apprantely now you don't and i was told to contact dell about it.
any idea of how i can extract my windows product key?

Hi,
Thank you for writing to us!
The product key is pre-injected in the motherboard so as long as the mother board is not changed and in case you have to reinstall the operating system as long as you are using a Dell OEM cd or USB there is no need for the product key .
In case the mother board has been change via Dell then you will be provided with the DPK (Dell Product Key )

But now i have to ask how do i get/create a Dell original windows media so i would be able to reinstall it?
I know how to create windows media through Microsoft but it asks for a key
