Question about gpu

Hello everyone,

I am interested in buying this model

http://configure.ap.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?oc=w540312in8&model_id=inspiron-15-3521&c=in&l=en&s=dhs&cs=indhs1&

My question is, does it have dedicated gpu and if it does, can it work for low performance tasks, and if you play some game then your upgraded gpu works.
Second, is it fast enough for some online games like World of Tanks?

The Intel GPU is always on - all video data passes through it on its way to the display panel.  The AMD GPU is called into use as needed.  Not all games work with hybrid video - you should check with the ones you want to play before buying.

I am not really looking for some serious gaming laptop, just to play some games from time to time. World of tanks is the most demanding game i would play.

And does my Intel HD works when i am not gaming or anything serious, and AMD otherwise?

The only way to get dedicated video these days is with a high-end gaming system (i.e., Alienware) or a mobile workstation (Precision).

The Inspiron has hybrid video - the AMD GPU is a co-processor.  It's OK for very light gaming - anything more demanding, it won't do.

The i3 CPU will also be weak for gaming - you really want an i5 or i7.
