Rear Camera unavailable??
I recently purchased a dell latitude 10 st2e and upgraded to win 8.1. Now, I cannot use my rear camera. how do i troubleshoot it? it doesn't even show on device manager. it was working fine before the upgrade.

Hi Ascavera,
Thank you for your response and apologize as the previous link provided was not the right BIOS driver for your computer as you’ve checked.
You can install the A06 version BIOS for your computer and below is the link for the, please install the BIOS and let us know if there’s any change.

Hi Ascavera,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused, please follow the below mentioned steps to fix the issue.
1. Please install the latest BIOS for your computer by clicking on the below link

2. Please install all the Windows updates on the computer and once completed, please restart the computer and check.
3. Try accessing the camera through the camera app and let us know if you can access the rear camera.
Just in case please backup the data on the computer as if these steps did not work you’ll have to restore the computer to Factory Reset where the computer will go back to the day 1 when you received it.
Please complete these steps and let us know your findings.

The link directs me to a download link for a bios upgrade for Dell Latitude 10 ST2, labeled A08. My model is ST2e, and the latest bios available is named A06. Can I use either?? I'm scared lest I end up bricking my tablet.

Well Thank You, and yes, it worked. I was scared while the BIOS was being flashed, but it was a piece of cake. Now the rear camera shows on windows once again.

I am having the same problem. Bios is already upgraded to A08. Windows doesn't recognise the cameras
