Recovery Disc

Hello guys,

I have some issue to my Inspiron 3537 laptop. When i try to create a recovery drive i can't . I have this message: Some required files are missing. To troubleshoot problems when your PC can't start , use your Windows installation disc or media.

When o try to use Dell Backup and Recovery i have this message:Dell Backup and Recovery has not been able to detect the Recovery Partition on this Computer.It may be missing or corrupted.To recover your computer to the original factory state and restore the Recovery Partition , please use your System Recovery Discs.Note:You will not be able to preserve your data with Dell Backup and Recovery System Backups until the Recovery Partition is repaired.

I call to Microsoft but they can't help me.Direction me to call Dell .

My question is: Can i create a recovery disc ? Can i fix this issue? Is it necessary Dell  provide to me Windows 8 disc ?If yes how i request it?If not i am obligate to buy a new OS?

Use Norton Ghost. It backs up everything in that state to a new partition(need an extra partition). After backing up, if something goes wrong, press Restore to go back into that state of the computer before the problem. (EDIT)

Use Norton Ghost. It backs up everything in that state to a new partition(Use EaseUS or anything else to get the partition). After backing up, if something goes wrong, press Restore to go back into that state of the computer before the problem.

The recovery partition has been corrupted. Call Dell and ask for the installation media.

I try this way and works . I make a format ans now everything look like work properly. Thank you for your advice!  

When i create the disc i tried to book from BIOS but the system can accept my PRODUCT KEY of WINDOS 8 . but when i enter on the Windows and then opened the disc (auto play) and choose to refresh the laptop the system didn't ask me about PRODUCT KEY ! After the installation i activate windows 8.1 with my product key without problem. I didn't understand the difference but now i am really happy because i solve the issue in my Laptop . Also about the black screen it was the hibernate mode  that desactivate in the power options.
