Hello sir, i don't think der is any problem in dell backup and recovery as if it would have been i would have able to create recovery media using d by default recovery wizard of windows but i m not ! I even saw my disk management it showed me following partitions: *os (c:) (primary partition) 931 gb * (oem partition) 11.87 gb * (oem partition) 490 mb * (oem partition) 40 mb * (unused partiton) 500mb . . Do i have recovery partition and if yes den y doesn't my lappy able to recognize it and if no den tell me d step to create one ! Thanks in advance ! :-)
The 11.87 GB OEM partition seems to be the recovery partition.
As you are getting the error ''recovery partition is missing or maybe corrupted'', it seems that the recovery partition is not tagged to the operating system or it may be corrupt.
There is no way to recreate the recovery partition; however as suggested in the earlier post, you may try to uninstall and reinstall the application as that might be able to link the recovery partition.
Keep me posted with the results. I will be glad to assist you further.
