Regarding Adding RAM
Hi,
I'm using Dell inspiron N4030 Core 2 Duo with 4GB RAM(2+2)
I want to use Oracle apps,so i want to upgrade my RAM to 16gb by adding two 8gb's.
Will my laptop supports this?

The Dell Inspiron N4030 system has 2 SODIMM slots. The system accepts a memory capacity ranging from 1GB, 2GB and 4GB. The memory type accepted is DDR3 1333 MHz SODIMM only. The computer supports a maximum of 6GB of memory.

As far as I can see you are already at the maximum memory configuration for this machine

Hi Tharun232,
The maximum memory supported on the system is 6GB. However, you can try 8GB with 2x 4GB Memories as the slot supports 4GB but Dell has not tested 8GB on this system.
