Reimage my Inspiron E1705

Just bought my wife a new computer, and took her old Inspiron E 1705  for myself.  Decided to reimage becauxe it was a mess.  Went through the Ctrl F11 process at the splash screen, and pushed the button to reinstall the factory setting.  Everything seemed to go fine.  When it said to click the Finished button I did so.  It started to reboot and the words, "PBR 2... done" appreared, and it just stopped there.  It goes no further.  What can I do?
