Removing Keyboard Cover

I want to remove the little blue bar on the top of my i5100 that covers the keyboard screws.  I get the general idea (pry with a piece of plastic in the grove on the right side) but I can't seem to get it to pop up.  How much pressure should I use here (I feel like if i flex it too much it's gonna break) and what's the best tool to do this with (preferably things that most people have on hand?)

I think it starts from the left side. At least it does on my left side. You gotta pry pretty hard...start wedging the screwdriver in as you go.

On my 5150 I start from the right side. I had to really come onto it. I thought I was going to break it, but it just popped off. I bent it quite a bit but it just flexed back to normal.
