Replacing Inspiron 1520 Hard Drive
So I have had my Inspiron 1520 for over 3 years now and I have a 160GB. It has practically run its course and am looking into replacing it with something like this:
http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=wd5000bekt&hl=en&cid=16877681430047387528&ei=CIFxTMfqD56CjgS6gZGJDA&sa=title&ved=0CAcQ8wIwADgA#p
I'm trying to figure out if that hard drive will be compatible and if it is worth doing so? Or should I stick with an external hard drive? I could always put that hard drive in some enclosure too.

That, or any other 2.5" 9.5 mm SATA notebook drive will work just fine.

So that one is 9.5mm then? And is there a tutorial on how to replace the hard drive? I'm concerned about transferring over all my files, etc. from the original 160GB.
