Replacing palmrest/touchpad on 5100 - how easy?
I want to replace the palmrest/touchpad piece on my 5100. How easy is it? Has anyone else done it? I'm proficient with normal PCs, but know that laptops can be notoriously fiddly. I've found the piece on Ebay in good condition, so I just need to get it and do the job.
Anything tricky about it? Any special tools needed? Any help/insturctions available anywhere on the web?

P.S. It's out of warranty, so I have to do it myself.

It will tell you how to take the system apart and replace any component.
I do not have a 5100, so I can not comment on the difficulty or problems you might encounter.
