SD Card reader

What is wrong with my system when I insert an SD card in my Inspiron XPS Gen 2, and nothing happens????

Are you using the correct type of card as illustrated in the link below?

You can actually order the internal Bluetooth card from Dell spare parts and fit it yourself. It is very simple to do as demonstrated in the link below.

*sigh* Thanks.... I just found out got an MMC card... And my Nokia 6230i only supports MMC and not "true" SD.... This is getting better by the minute.... :(

Dell also does not send a separate bluetooth-module, since it has to be built in on the motherboard, and cannot be inserted afterwards...  so I am very anxious to get my hands on my just ordered usb bluetooth dongle....

Ah well, I ordered the usb thingie, which has the nice side effect that I can use the phone on my home-computer as well... It took me a while, but I was able to find a good thing to come out of this :)

Yeah, but when I called Dell Netherlands to order, the sales dude says they didn't sell it separately, only integrated.... So there you go.... Thanks for that Dell... I could have saved me the money on the bluetooth usb dongle there....

Sorry to hear of your difficulties but I live in the UK and ordered the Bluetooth internal card separately from my 6000 laptop. I encountered no problems with ordering and fitted it myself.
