SMALL CHIRPING SOUND FROM USB AND HDMI PORT

I've been using Dell Inspiron N4050 since last year. But now I notice a small chirping sound (like small current or voltage leakage) from near USB and HDMI port. I got small shock 2-3 times in past from same ports. Though I don't get any electric shock now, it produces small sound as described above. It gets lesser as my laptop runs. Should I worry and take my laptop to service center or just neglect it?

Hi,

Welcome to the community

You should not ignore this issue, chirping noise/static from PC is not normal. If this is under warranty you get a repair warranty service. If not you can take it to any 3rd party technician or computer repair shops.

Let me know if further help is needed.

Regards.

Hello,

Thanks a lot for your help. This was very helpful. I'm taking my laptop to Dell Service Center now. :)
