Safely Remove Hardware icon in Taskbar
Hello all, I just received my Inspiron 1525 laptop and it's all to my expectations so far. My only minor little problem is the 'Safely Remove Hardware' icon which appears in the taskbar keeps appearing on and off within seconds for no reason and this repeatedly a lot of times a day. Right now, I have nothing (hardware) connected to my laptop and still, the icon keep appearing from time to time, well it's certainly no big deal but the continuous sound effect gets very disturbing after 10 times :)
Well i can probabaly get rid of the sound effect for this function, but does anyone know why this icon keeps appearing so often although I have nothing connected or disconnected. Your help will be most welcome all, Thank you bery much,

No solution but have the same bug with my new Inspiron. If you find a solution please post it hear & I'll do the same.

Try removing the little plastic memory card in the memory card reader. This has worked for me

You probabaly right, I've noticed that the little icon keep appearing and disappearing when I remove and replace the little fake plastic memory card in the slot, but it never came to my mind that this could stop it from poping up on and on by removing it completely. Think that it's all good, just need to see if it work out for me now. Thanks for your help,
