Scrolling using Touchpad in Dell Vostro 2520

Please help...


I am using a one-month-old Vostro 2520. I can't get the scroller on the touchpad to work. I am using Windows 7 Professional.

Hi Vishal,

It looks like the scrolling option has been disabled. Please follow the steps below to enable the single-finger scrolling or two-finger scrolling on the system.

  1. Click on Start button.
  2. In the search box type Dell Touchpad and then press enter.
  3. Click on Single-Finger gestures tab or Two-Finger Gestures tab (Depending on which feature you wish to enable).
  4. Give a check on Enable or Enable 2- Finger scrolling (Depending on which feature you wish to enable).
  5. Click on Apply and Ok.

If you do not find the Dell Touchpad feature then you may have to reinstall the touchpad drivers for the system
