Precision 7720 has the following configuration for hard drive.

2.5" SATA SSD: 256GB, 512GB, 1TB

M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD: 256GB, 512GB, 1TB

Maximum capacity is 2 TB

If you have only an M.2 card SSD, you can add a 2.5" drive - if you have a 2.5" drive, the second drive must be M.2.  There is not space inside the system for two 2.5" drives.

That's right, you can add one M2 and another 2.5 inch hard drive.

so it is possible to have raid 2 ssd 512 gb M2 and a 3rd 2tb drive for storage?  i am being told the 3rd drive can only be 1 TB
