Service tag invalid

Question

I tried to check on my warranty under warranty status and every which way i could type the service code it kept saying that it was invalid. I tried to then contact tech support, but it needed service code once again, and would not allow me to get in touch with them, and the laptop was not bought in a country other than the United States. Any help would be appreciated.

If you purchased your Dell PC from a store, you need to register it with Dell. http://www.onlineregister.com/dell/?c=US&l=EN
