Share Replicator between Inspiron 3500 and 8200?

Hello,

I have a Dell Inspiron 3500 laptop with a Dell port replicator. I recently just ordered a Dell Inspiron 8200 (but have not yet received it). Will the port replicator from the 3500 work with the 8200? I've heard that the 3700's port replicator can be used with the 8200 as long as the laptop power cord from the 8200 is used. But I don't know if the 3700 and 3500 are the same. Anyone know?
