Sigmatel driver issue (Switching from Vista to XP)

Even bothering to try Vista was a big mistake. So I formatted and shoved on XP. Got everything else working but I can't seem to install any audio drivers. I already installed the chipset drivers, and when ever I try to install the sigmatel drivers, it's spews an error at me.

Any ideas?

This problem after an OS installation is almost always from not installing the Intel mobile chipset before the Sigmatel audio drivers. You might have to try it again and it's a good idea to install the Dell Notebook System software before the Intel chipset.

I had the chipset drivers installed prior to installing the sigmatel driver. I'll take your suggestion and try Dell Software > Chipset Drivers > Sigmatel Drivers, I'll let you know how that works out.
