Slow BIOS Revision A07?
When I start WIN XP3 on my LapTop Latitude D505 BIOS Revision is so slowly: about 40-50 sec. Why?

Hi there,
There's many reasons why your Latitude D505 is behaving like this so what I'd like to do is ask you some questions if that's okay.
1) How long has this been happening to your system?
2) Did the issue occur after any hardware changes to your system?
3) Do you have any peripherals connected to your system, e.g. external hard drives, USB flash drives, etc..., when you first switch the system on?
4) If you do have peripherals connected, does it make any difference if they are disconnected before switching the system on?
5) Once the system boots into Windows, does the system work correctly and without any further issues?
