Smart card reader not visible
Some time ago, my smart card reader stopped functioning. I just had a Dell service technician work on the machine and the card reader was replaced.
I can see the card reader in Device Manager. It popped up as soon as I inserted a SD card. But neither MyComputer now Windows Explorer will show the card reader as a removable drive.
What do I need to do to make my SD card reader visible?

Dogsafire,
Try installing the Ricoh R5C847 <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>
drivers.
Do you know what all the Dell Service Technician did?

Dogsafire,
Did installing the drivers work?
Do you have any yellow exclaimination marks or red x's in the device manager?
Everything else working ok, like use ports, wireless adapters, webcam, etc?

The service tech replaced the handrest bezel, which includes the smart card reader. The motherboard and power button board were also replaced.
