I haven't noticed anyone experiencing any problems with this configuration.

I've been having problems with SW since I bought my Inspiron 8100 with a GF2Go card.  when I have 3 or more windows open in SW things slow down alot alot alot. I found a note about it ont he SW website. SW corporation claims all the Geforce cards have the same problem that causes the slowdown. I'm not sure but think the only solution is to upgrade to a different card.

I havent had a problem running SolidWorks or CATIA V5.  I can open 10 to 12 windows in Solid works with out a significant slow down.  I think SolidWorks also recommends min ram requirements when opening multiple screens.  I have an older version of SolidWorks on my old HP desktop with an old  graphics card and it worked ok, but I had 512megs of ram.  My i8500 has 1gig of ram.

I have 500 M of RAM and my i8500 system slows down on the eigth window unless I use software openGL.  It is a real bummer.  My card is the Geforce 4 4200 Go with 64MB.  Does yours really not have the problem?  If it doesn't, can you tell me which driver you are using?

Thanks!
