he system model is Inspiron 15 Intel (N5010) and Operating System is WINDOWS 7.

No Error Results from MS FIX-IT.

Through the headphone the sound seems fine. But through laptop internal speaker the sound is not coming properly(very less than normal). Seems damaged speaker.

I guess I have run all the tests in pre-boot system assessment but no issues are found.

Please suggest accordingly.

Hi atulkumar,

Have you updated the Audio Drivers in the system by following the steps from my previous post?

I suggest you to uninstall the audio drivers and then reinstall it again.

Please follow the below mentioned steps to uninstall sound card drivers from the computer:

  2. In the “Device Manager” window, double click “Sound, video and controllers”.
  3. Right click “IDT 92HDxxx HD Audio", click "Uninstall", and ensure to check the box “Delete driver software for this device”.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation and restart the computer.

Use the following link to download the Audio drivers for this system for Windows 7 Operating System: http://dell.to/17o4rZv

Click the link, Download file and follow the onscreen instructions to install the sound card drivers.

Restart the system and check the sound from internal speakers.

If the issue persists, please check the sound from the internal speaker in Safe mode with networking. To check in Safe Mode with Networking:

  1. Restart the computer.
  2. Keep tapping F8 on the Dell Logo Screen.
  3. Once the computer enters Advanced Boot Option, select Safe Mode with Networking.
