Split screen
I have a dell inspiron N5010, and it was working fine till recently, the screen split in two vertically. The display in the upper half is normal but the lower half displays colors of pink and green only. As a result I cant use my laptop without seriously straining my eye. Please help me out. I don't have an external monitor to verify whether it is a lcd or a hardware/software issue.

Hi Sandesh_Rao,
Welcome to the Community,
Since you don't have the external monitor,try booting the system to safe mode (tap F8 on start up),select Safe mode and login to the system.
If the issue persists in Safe mode,than you will have to arrange an external display to confirm if its the Video card or LCD issue.
