Scroll down and read Dagras reply on "how to install the catalyst driver"(very important to get it installed and his instructions are for vista).

Yesterday, Dell released new 3650 HD Catalyst drivers for the Studio 1735 that work for both Vista 32 and 64 bit OSes. You can find them in Dell's driver download site here:
Studio Laptop Drivers
They add a few more missing display resolutions and improve support for your external monitor. It also fixes all but one of the scaling errors (1920 x 1080) between 1280 x 1024 and 1920 x 1200.
