Hi Prasheel11,

AMD Catalyst Center is designed in a way that it automatically recognises and assigns certain applications to the AMD video card and others to the Intel video card. You can specify which application must use a specific card but you will not be able to Enable/Disable any graphic card manually.

You may try updating BIOS, Chipset and then the Video drivers. That should fix the issue with freezing while playing GTA4. Please use the following links to download the latest versions of the BIOS, Chipset and Video drivers:

Link for BIOS: http://dell.to/PECG5c

Please connect the Ac Adapter while updating the BIOS and do not use the system once the update is initiated and until the system restarts completely.

Link for Chipset driver: http://dell.to/QvenbJ

Go to Start menu> Control Panel> Programs and Features. Once the programs window opens, locate the 'AMD Catalyst Center' and uninstall it, by right clicking on it. Once completely uninstalled, restart the system and install the latest video driver from the below link.

Link for Video driver: http://dell.to/RVGXiF

The drivers have to be installed in the same order as mentioned above and please restart the system after every driver installation.

I hope this helps

Please let us know in case of any queries

Thanks and regards
Harish R

If it works for a while, then slows down - it's likely overheating.  Clear the dust from the heatsink assembly.

Hey there,

No it just freezes for a while, doesn't slow down at all and i doubt it's overheating coz it's only 2 days old.
