System Image backup problem in Dell XPS 15 (9550)
Hi,
Today I tried to make a system image backup for my new Dell XPS 15, but the process failed and the event log provided this error message:
AddLegacyDriveFiles:
Unable to backup image of binary Microsoft Link-Layer Discovery Protocol
System error: Access is denied
The Dell XPS 15 (9550) is running Windows 10 Pro (64 bit) OS。
Has someone encountered the similar problem on Dell's XPS 15? I have searched on the internet for the solution and found some, but it seems does not work for XPS 15. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Regards

Make sure to connect and use an external hard drive to store the system image.

Thanks for the reply.
I did connect my XPS 15 notebook with an external hard disk which is recognized by the system as partition D. The backup process did occur for a while and something was written in the WindowsImageBackup directory, but the backup process failed to complete and the system event log displayed the error message:
Unable to back up image of binary Microsoft Link-Layer Discovery Protocol
System error: Access is Denied
