Tablet PC???

Question

Does dell plan on releasing a Teblet PC/Convertable notebook? I would really like to get one and the only two real choices in my opinion are the Gateway option and the Compaq but I would rather not buy those.

Dell has published comments to the effect that they have no plans to offer a tablet PC.

Tablets having really exploded in the notebook section, so until then, Dell may hang back.

They have been trying to make those tablet pcs popular for over 2 years now with no success.  The palms are really making it difficult for the tablets to become practicle.
