The difference between the Alienware 17 R2 and R3?

Hello all, I just purchased the Alienware 17 under the impression that it was the R3 model, but my itemized list has it as an R2. My question is what are the diferences between the two?

If the processor is an i7-4xxx, R2 If the processor is an i7-6xxx, R3

R3 uses sixth-gen Skylake CPUs, DDR4 vs. 4th gen Haswell and DDR3 for the R2.  The R3 has four M.2 slots vs. 2 for the R2.There are other minor differences but those are the big ones.

Ok, if I bought the $2599 model, Am I getting the R3 or R2? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, cool. It should be a R3. For some reason my itemized list has a R2 shipping box listed. I'll check it when I received it. Thanks for the info.
