To determine the adapter wattage and type on laptops? AC DC Power Charge Battery

Iv recently encountered the dreaded Plugged-In not charging Error

Upon Boot

ALERT! AC power wattage and type cannot be determined. The battery may not charge. The system will adjust the performance to match the power available. 

Iv come to the conclusion its the module that determines the adapter and wattage type.

As iv tested it with known working chargers and batteries.

Can anyone *** me with this knowledge or allow me to get a schematic for the mother board?
