Hi Syed Moien Ahmed. I got the same problem with you and I've fixed it successfully. Believe it or not, the problem still lies in the driver. different Windows OS requires different drivers. That is to say, the drivers for Windows 7 are definitely not compatible with Windows 8. Therefore you need to install the exactly right touchpad driver and wireless driver. I don't know how you installed the drivers but it seemed they didn't work. If you manually downloaded and installed the drivers, be careful, because in many cases you would miss some driver files when installing.
Here is how I fixed my problem. I used DriveTheLife to help download and install the drivers. It could find the exact drivers for my Windows 8.1 and never miss a file. I don't know whether you heard it or not, but it seems to be a very good utility. It's totally free. Why not have a try.

I have a problem,I purchase dell inspiron 15( 3542) ,I installed window 8,but my laptop touch mouse pad not working ,when i attached extera mouse its working. in window 7 its working but in window 8 its not working.I many time tried to download touch pad driver but problems still occur.
When I installed window -7,mouse pad working good but another problem occur that is my system not connected to internet.because no ether net/net driver not found..
Both CDs are working good ,when i used these CDS (7&8-Window) in my desktop Dell optiplex 780.
I am so tired .Ur cooperation in this regards will b highly appreciated.Please guide me what can i do
Please update the touchpad and network drivers from the link below. Once you click on the link, select the Operating system as Windows 8 and then download the drivers. You might have to download the drivers on a different system, copy the file and install the same.

i installed window 8,when i connect with internet through cable its connected,but when i unplug the net cable and wana try to connect with WIFI its not connected.All drivers are updated.I don't know where the problem exist .Sir I am so tired.
I am going to uninstall window 8 and install window but meanwhile i saw ur message.Its my last hope.I am so thankful to u if u solve my problem.
In window 7 its automatically show the all network in the area.but in window 8 there is nothing.
