Touch pad buttons not working!
Hi. I REALLY need help with my touchpad buttons.
Earlier today my touchpad buttons were working perfectly fine. And then all of a sudden they stopped working.
My keyboard is still working and the actual touchpad and cursor are working fine. It's just the buttons.
I've checked to see if they were disabled. and they were enabled and it said that it was working fine. I've tried disabling it and enabling it again but it still doesn't work.
Can you please help me?
Ps. My laptop is a Dell Studio 1558.

Hi Stoneybaloney,
Welcome to the Community. I suggest you uninstall your existing touchpad drivers, and use the below link to reinstall it. To uninstall, click start, right click on computer, click on properties, click on device manager, click on the symbol next to pointing devices, right click on synaptics touchpad and click on uninstall and confirm it, after its removed install it using the below link and restart your computer.
support.dell.com/.../download.aspx <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed / replaced from this post by Dell>
Hope this helps.
Thank you
