Touchpad does not keep pointer speed setting on Vostro 3560
Hello,
On my Vostro 3560 the touchpad software does not keep the pointer speed setting after restart.
Other settings are kept.
Reinstalling the software did not help.
Is there a solution?

Hi sasha07,
I would suggest you to flash the BIOS and reinstall the Chipset and touchpad drivers on the system to check if the touchpad settings are getting saved.
Please follow the link below to update the BIOS, Chipset and touchpad drivers on the system. When the page comes up please put in the service tag. Then go ahead and download the appropriate drivers, after selecting the operating system installed on your computer, from the link below.

Please let me know if this helps.

Hi,
I also have this problem.
Even with latest BIOS and drivers (installed in proper order after clean Windows 7 x64 install).
Only pointer speed setting in 'control panel -> mouse -> pointer options' is working for me after reboot.
Since it's just a workaround, does anybody has any solution?
It seems like a bug in touchpad's driver/software.
Regards,
Bartek
