Touchpad features stopped working

Hi ! 

I have a new Dell inspiron 5558, everything was going just great until all of the sudden the touchpad features stopped working (scrolling with two fingers, pinch zooming and so on). This happened after a normal restart.

I've also noticed that I can't seem to find the settings related to these features, settings that I was able to see when the pad was working just fine, such as "Change what happens when you drag three fingers on the touchpad" and so on, when I start the search these sentences come up but when I click them it says no result found.

I'll really appreciate quick answers since I'm used to these features and don't really intend to continue working on the laptop without them :)
