Two QHD-Monitors possible with WD15?
Hi,
I'm failing to figure out if it is possible to operate two QHD-Monitors (UP2516D) with a WD15 452-BBOT and what the framerate would be. The Dell website just tells me that there are up to three monitors (1x4K + 2xHD) possible - what I don't know is, if there is more bandwidth available when I only connect two monitors, none of them with 4K resolution. My PC is an XPS13 9350-4884, in case that matters.
Thanks, iko

I don't think anyone can answer the frame rate question, because it'll depend on what you're running -- don't count on doing anything demanding on two UHD screens from one Intel-GPU system.
It may be possible but it'll be slow going.

Thanks for your reply. Maybe I was being vague, I was not talking about application-dependent framerate, I know that that depends on the application and on the power of the GPU. What I meant is the actual monitor refresh rate. If you have a look at the table here, you can see that, depending on the resolutions of the connected screens, the refresh rate can drop to 30 Hz: www.dell.com/.../SLN301105
The table doesn't answer my questions though, as I was wondering what that would mean for two QHD monitors.
The more pressing question however is, if I can operate two QHD monitor in the first place.
