USB device has exceeded the power limits
I recently got a brand new Inspiron 600m. I tried to set up my Palm Tungsten E PDA onto it and keep on getting this error message: "USB device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port" Is my notebook defective or is this a known bug? I am using the latest Palm Software.

If you go to control panel/system/hardware/device manager/USB controllers and look at each of the root hubs, i think they'll tell you how much power is being supplied to each port. Might be interesting to see what your tungsten is doing in that respect.
