Unable to Image E7270 Laptop using ImageX. “THE SYSTEM CANNOT FIND THE DRIVE SPECIFIED”.
I am unable to capture an image of Windows 7/10 on the bootable UFD
I have done the following:
- Inserted the bootable UFD into a USB port on the reference computer.
- Turned on the reference computer, and from the list of boot devices, selected the bootable UFD
- At the command prompt, I am unable to identify which drive contains Windows 7/10—typically drive D in Windows PE. When I type dir d:, or any other letter and then press ENTER. I get the below message “THE SYSTEM CANNOT FIND THE DRIVE SPECIFIED”.
- I doesn’t recognise any USB ports regardless of what USB I use i.e. USB 2.0, USB 3.0.
- Even when I try to check the drive which contains Imagex.exe and run dir e:, dir f:, dir g:, I get the same message.
I think it might have something to do with drivers but any directions or if you have overcome this issue please let me know. Much appreciated.
