Uninstalling Microsoft Office Tools

Hello,

Is there a way to uninstall Microsoft Office Tools.  I have both Word and Excel and Office Tools installed from both.  I did a custom install to avoid installing tools. When I went to Add/Remove programs to try and get rid of the Office Tools,  I couldn't do it there.  I didn't want to start deleting files and having stuff disappear :)  Any help is appreciated.

ThankYOu

If you are running Office 2000 or XP, you can go to Add/Remove programs, select your version of Office and click change. After the installer starts you'll see a list of options. Select Add/Remove features and click next. You'll then see another list of features with Office tools listed there. Click on the box with the down arrow (not the plus sign)next to Office tools. In that drop down select not available. That will remove Office tools. You can then verify that it was removed by clicking the plus sign next to it and they should all have red x's next to it.
