Upgrade Inspiron B960 cpu to i7 - 2670QM

From the sound of it you bought a budget model - you just won't get high performance at this price/size level.

The N4050 is a second-generation Core i system, so it won't take that first-generation COre CPU, no.

To change video you must replace the system board -- an expensive upgrade that will also void any warranty remaining on the system.

I know and it's torturing me.

I have an XPS 630i and 730x and love speed.

Looking at trying to sell this one and get one with an i7 and 2GB nVidea dedicated card.

Maybe it's just me but I find this laptop very slow even though it's brand new.

On the windows experience rating, it shows a 3.3 for the cpu.

My i7 desktop shows a 7.2.

It only has 4GB of memory and I am unsure if I upgrade it to 8GB, if I will notice any speed gain.

Hey I have a question... Someone is selling me an almost new Dell Inspiron N4050 with

Intel Core i5,

8GB RAM,

500GB HDD,

1GB ATi Radeon Graphics Card.

Now I cant find the price of this laptop with this specification anywhere else, so kindly guide me about what should be the appropriate price of it...
