Upgrade XPS 13 Kabby Lake RAM

Question

I am looking at buying the new 13 XPS kabby lake. I know I will need the 512 SSD but I am trying to establish whether or not the RAM is upgradable. I did a chat with a dell sales person and he claimed I could but I cannot find any place on the site that confirms this. I understand the RAM must be Dell certified but beyond that I don't know. I would like to avoid voiding the warranty.

You need to order the system with as much RAM as you'll need for the life of the system -- the memory on this model is like that in the Macbook Airs -- it's soldered onto the mainboard.  Once you purchase the system, it cannot be upgraded later.
