Using XPS M1330 Built-in Webcam w/ Movie Maker

I have an XPS M1330, am very familiar with Windows Movie Maker and connecting external cameras to it, but so far no luck with the built in webcam.

I keep getting the following message everytime I attempt to use the built-in web cam with WMM = "Import Video could not find a compatible digital video device.  Verify that the digital video device is properly connected and turned on".

Question:
How do you use the built-in webcam with Windows Movie Maker?

It's an annoying vista thing actually. It works fine in XP because XP and the XP drivers come with WIA camera drivers. I'm not sure if later versions of the Creative drivers will supply this functionality or if it's even possible with vista. I got around this 2 ways, 1 install XP which works great on my M1330 or record the video or picture with the camera software Dell supplied then import that into movie maker. Certainly a silly way to work around something that should work afaic
