Dell Vostro 1510 has not been tested with Windows 7 operating system. You can try installing the quickset driver using the compatibility mode. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the OS, then download the Dell Quickset application from Application section onto the system and install it.
Basically the quickset should enable the F2 (sleep), F3 (battery) and the Fn operations. If the feature is not working then the driver is not completely compatible with Windows 7 operating system.

For this model was only Vista 32bit. You do not install the application.

Install the following system drivers:

Dell ControlPoint should fix this issue.

It installs as LAN switches, LCD and others.
But it does not change the blue F2 (sleep), F3 (battery) and some blue buttons.
