Vostro 3550 - problem with fingerprint scanner

Hi.

I've bought new Vostro 3550 few days ago. I've installed Windows 7 SP1 (from MSDN AA), and there's problem with fingerprint scanner.

It's listed in Device Manager under "Biometric Devices" , but it's not listed in "Biometric devices" in Control Panel, so i'm unable to use it.

I've uninstalled Validity Scanner DDK using "Programs and features" and the drivers using Device Manager, and installed it again after reboot, still nothing. I've installed it both manually (by Setup) and automatically (Device Manager -> Update driver -> both on-line and off-line search), and nooooothing.

Any suggestions?

Gah, I've found solution, after two days... Just follow instructions on this site: www.validityinc.com/post.aspx

Download WBF, and it will work... I dunno why, WBF is already present in win7, but it works.
