Warranty information on open box/refurb orders from third parties?
HI,
First of all, sorry if this is the wrong area of the forum for this...
I am considering purchasing an open box laptop from a local Microcenter and want to know, what type of warranty does Dell extend to people who have bought an open box from a third party retailer? Microcenter says that the laptop has a 90 day warranty, but I am not sure if that's a warranty they extend or if it's one that Dell extends.
I just want to know what type of warranty I would have from Dell if I purchase that laptop from Microcenter.

there is a good chance that the 90 days u get from Microcenter is all ur gonna get.

The Microcenter website says "Manufacturers warranty applies" implying that if Dell extends a warranty to those who buy those systems, it would probably be up to Dell to specify terms and length. I can't seem to find anything that would tell me what Dell does for people who purchased such a system from a third party and not their own outlet.
