What Do with Old Battery?

Question

I received my replacement battery for my laptop. That was surprisingly fast.

But now I don't know what to do with the old battery. Most of the electronics recycling sites I've looked into just take entire computers.

Any ideas on what to do with the potentially flammable battery?

I live in Austin.

There are 2 Batteries Plus stores in Austin, they can properly dispose of them if you are unable to locate any info from Dell.

Problem is he might be charged for the new one if Dell doesn't get it back. Contact Dell before doing anything.
