Be sure to later post how well Dell fulfills the CompleteCare coverage on your laptop. I'm curious because I just got a new Inspiron 8600 with 4 year CompleteCare and the 'accidental breakage' coverage was a very major selling point for me when considering Dell over other vendors.
Basically I wouldn't even consider any vendor that didn't offer some sort of accidental protection coverage. Also, I was much more willing to get a more expensive ($3200), top of the line laptop if I knew that, short of it getting stolen, I would have it working for at least four years.
OK, will do. That's also why I paid the extra $169. I can't actually power my notebook back on for another 5 hours, but I'll definitely let you know how things turn out. Hoping that if it is messed up, they might replace with 8600 :), but as long as it get replaced/repaired, I'll be happy.
